* WHAT...West winds 40 to 50 mph with gusts up to 70 mph possible. * WHERE...Bordeaux area along Interstate 25 between Chugwater and Wheatland. * WHEN...Until 5 PM MST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers.

Winter Storm Warning issued November 5 at 1:44PM MST until November 6 at 11:00AM MST by NWS Billings MT

* WHAT...Heavy Snow and Blowing Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 7 and 14 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph creating significant blowing and drifting snow. * WHERE...In Montana, Pryor/Northern Bighorn Mountains. In Wyoming, Northeast Bighorn Mountains. * WHEN...Until 11 AM MST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Recreation in the high country will be impacted by heavy accumulating snow. Travel could be very difficult on US-14. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and recently burned timber. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snowfall will be on north and northwest facing slopes to the north of Burgess Junction.

* WHAT...Snow and Blowing Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches with locally heavier accumulations possible. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph creating areas of blowing snow. * WHERE...In Montana, Bighorn Canyon, Northern Big Horn, Southern Big Horn, and Southern Rosebud. In Wyoming, Sheridan Foothills. * WHEN...Until 11 AM MST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous by this evening. Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility at times. The hazardous conditions could impact this evening and Wednesday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow will be in the higher hills and foothills above 4500 feet on north facing slopes.

Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...West slopes of the Bighorn Mountains, especially areas of northern Bighorn County. * WHEN...Until 11 AM MST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult along Granite Pass and Powder River Pass.

Winds gusting as high as 60 mph. * WHERE...North Snowy Range Foothills including Arlington and Elk Mountain along Interstate 80. * WHEN...Until 6 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Areas of blowing snow could reduce visibility and lead to slick road conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Multiple rounds of snow showers will lead to very rapidly changing conditions, including sudden visibility drops and variable road conditions.
