* WHAT...Snow expected. Snowfall accumulations have been highly elevation dependent. Total snow accumulations of 2-4 inches at elevations above 500 feet, with locally higher amounts above 1000 feet. Elsewhere, total accumulations will be less than 2 inches. * WHERE...In New Jersey, Western Passaic County. In New York, Northern Westchester, Orange, Putnam, and Rockland Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes. Isolated tree damage and power outages are possible due to heavy wet snow load.

* WHAT...Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 to 4 inches below 1,200 feet in elevation and between 6 and 12 inches above 1,200 feet elevation. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...In New Jersey, Morris and Warren Counties. In Pennsylvania, Northampton County. * WHEN...Until 4 PM EST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute. Above 1,200 feet elevation, the strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages.
