Allen Faber's report:
OK, so right away at the top of the page it says: Warning! Do not attempt to use any of these features while driving a vehicle. Well, why not employ AI or even an experienced traffic engineer to use statistics to provide a daily prediction of the expected traffic across the Vantage bridge. That would do the most to prevent accidents from someone trying to figure out what the hell is going on in real time. Certainly WSDOT must be collecting data on the effect of the construction on traffic. If it's generally bad at 2PM on a Thursday, guess what? I'll plan to go at another time rather than becomming a part of the problem. No, it won't be perfect, but it could be a great help. Just inform people that it is based on an analysis of daily traffic, and is offered as a help, not guaranteed. Is that too hard to figure out?
