* WHAT...Life-threatening rip currents due to breaking waves up to 6 to 7 feet. * WHERE...Beaches in Vieques and Saint Croix. * WHEN...Through 6 AM AST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Rip currents that can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water where it becomes difficult to return to safety.

* WHAT...Life-threatening rip currents due to breaking waves up to 11 to 13 feet, occasionally higher. * WHERE...Beaches along the northern coasts of Puerto Rico from Aguadilla to Fajardo, and Culebra. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory and the High Rip Current Risk, through 6 PM AST Wednesday. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, through 6 PM AST this evening. * IMPACTS...Rip currents that can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water where it becomes difficult to return to safety. Large breaking waves producing dangerous swimming conditions and beach erosion.
