* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations up to 3 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...In North Carolina, Ashe and Watauga Counties. In Virginia, Grayson County. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Coastal Flood Advisory issued November 22 at 3:23PM EST until November 23 at 4:00PM EST by NWS Newport/Morehead City NC

* WHAT...1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...Soundside areas adjacent to the Albemarle, Croatan and Roanoke Sounds, Kitty Hawk Bay, the Pamlico Sound, and adjacent tidal creeks. * WHEN...Until 4 PM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Up to 1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways resulting in a low threat of property damage. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes adjacent to the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.

Tree limbs could be blown down, and several power outages may occur.
