Southwestern Avoyelles Parish in central Louisiana... * Until 1000 AM CST. * At 926 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Bayou Chicot, or near Turkey Creek, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Bunkie and Cheneyville around 930 AM CST. Evergreen around 945 AM CST. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include St. Landry. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 46 and 56.
