Special Weather Statement

Special Weather Statement issued November 26 at 9:01PM EST by NWS Burlington VT

Roads remain wet this evening after today's rain. In addition, patchy fog has developed, which is also keeping roads damp. Temperatures are currently near or just above freezing across much of Vermont along and east of the Green Mountains. As temperatures continue to drop this evening, any lingering moisture could freeze into black ice, especially on untreated and secondary roadways, making for slippery travel. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling this evening. Slow down, and remain alert for changing road conditions.
