Although northerly winds will be around 5 to 10 mph in Rhode Island on Thursday, the very dry ground along with relative humidities during the afternoon ranging from 30 to 50 percent will again lead to elevated fire weather concerns. Outdoor burning is not recommended. Use caution when handling and disposing of ignition sources such as matches and cigarettes.
