At 6 am, area radars are indicating a wintry mix of light snow and freezing drizzle over north-central to far northeast Wisconsin early this morning. The combination of the snow and freezing drizzle will create hazardous driving conditions for the Monday morning commute. The snow is expected to increase in intensity after 9 am which could result in additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches by the end of the afternoon.

This accumulating snow could result in slippery morning commute, especially on bridges and overpasses. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and allow extra time for travel.
