In Nevada, Greater Reno-Carson City-Minden Area and Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties. * WHEN...From 10 AM to 7 PM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds may knock down burned trees in the Davis Fire burn area.

The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Red Flag Warning for gusty winds and low humidity, which is in effect from 10 AM to 7 PM PST Wednesday. * Affected Area...Fire Weather Zone 274 Southern Mono County, Fire Weather Zone 420 Northern Sierra Front including Carson City, Douglas, Storey, Southern Washoe, Western Lyon, and Far Southern Lassen Counties, Fire Weather Zone 421 Southern Sierra Front including Alpine, Northern Mono, Southern Lyon, and Western Mineral Counties, Fire Weather Zone 423 West Humboldt Basin in Pershing County and Fire Weather Zone 429 Lahontan Basin including Churchill and Eastern Mineral Counties. * Winds...South to South-Southwest winds 25-35 mph and gusts up to 50 mph. Wind prone areas may eperience higher gusts. * Humidity...12-25%. * Duration...3-6 hours between 10 AM and 7 PM Wednesday. Isolated high elevation areas may start earlier in the morning. * Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first responders can contain them.
