Freezing fog may deposit a thin layer of ice on overpasses and elevated surfaces, further worsening driving conditions.

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 10 inches except between 10 and 15 inches above 7500 feet possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Sandia and Manzano Mountains including Edgewood, Glorieta Mesa Including Glorieta Pass, Estancia Valley, Central Highlands, Far Northeast Highlands, Northeast Highlands, Union County, and Harding County. * WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through late Thursday night. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Some roads may be closed. Significant travel delays are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing snow may limit visibility to near zero at times, creating dangerous travel conditions.

Some roads may be closed. Significant travel delays are possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing snow from near Raton Pass to near Capulin will reduce visibility to near zero at times and create dangerous travel conditions.
