We may provide a wider range of issued severe weather warnings for surrounding cities and counties, so some alerts may not directly impact this location. * WHAT...Temperatures of 33 to 36 degrees will result in frost formation. * WHERE...Calabasas and Agoura Hills, Cuyama Valley, and Ojai Valley. * WHEN...Until 9 AM PST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Total snow accumulations up to 6 inches and up to 11 inches at the higher elevations. * WHERE...A portion of central California. * WHEN...From 4 PM Thursday to 10 PM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.

High Surf Advisory

High Surf Advisory issued November 13 at 8:41PM PST until November 16 at 11:00AM PST by NWS San Francisco CA

* WHAT... For the Coastal Flood Advisory, coastal flooding expected. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 12 to 15 ft with up to 20 ft along steep NW facing beaches. * WHERE...San Francisco County. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 7 AM Thursday to 4 PM PST Monday. For the High Surf Advisory, from 7 AM Thursday to 11 AM PST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Large waves can sweep across the beach without warning, pulling people into the sea from rocks, jetties and beaches. Sudden immersion in cold water can result in cold water shock even for the most experienced swimmers. Cold water shock can result in dramatic changes in breathing, heart rate and blood pressure, greatly increasing the risk of drowning in rough open waters. For the coastal flood advisory, flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Northwest facing beaches are most at risk for large turbulent shore break and strong currents.

Winter Weather Advisory issued November 13 at 2:08PM PST until November 15 at 10:00PM PST by NWS Sacramento CA

* WHAT...Snow expected above 5500 feet. Total snow accumulations through Friday between 6 and 12 inches, with locally higher amounts around 15 to 18 inches over the peaks. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas County/Lassen Park above 5500 feet. * WHEN...Until 10 PM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slick travel conditions, snow covered roads, chain controls, and travel delays. These hazardous conditions may impact commutes today through Friday. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow showers will persist through this evening, with a brief break tomorrow morning. Additional periods of scattered snow showers are expected midday Thursday through Friday. Snow levels are around 5500-6000 feet, and will lower to 4500-5500 feet by Thursday night.
