The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* WHAT...1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...Soundside areas adjacent to the Albemarle, Croatan and Roanoke Sounds, Kitty Hawk Bay, the Pamlico Sound, and adjacent tidal creeks. * WHEN...From 4 PM Friday to 4 PM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Up to 1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways resulting in a low threat of property damage. Some roads and low lying property including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes adjacent to the waterfront will experience shallow flooding.
