...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU KAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI AND FOR NORTH FACING SHORES OF MAUI STARTING 4 AM HST SUNDAY... .A medium-period northwest (320 degrees) will build overnight, peak on Sunday, then gradually diminish through Monday. * WHAT...Surf building to 12 to 16 feet along north facing shores and 8 to 12 feet along west facing shores. * WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau Kauai Oahu and Molokai, and for north facing shores of Maui. * WHEN...From 4 AM Sunday to 6 AM HST Monday. * IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
