These conditions will cause increased risk of heat illness for people outdoors or in non air conditioned spaces.

St Johns River Near Astor affecting Lake and Volusia Counties. .The St Johns River Near Astor is forecast to remain in Minor Flood Stage through at least Sunday morning due to light northerly winds and periods of locally heavy rainfall. The potential exists for additional rises if persistent locally heavy rainfall develops over the basin. The river is near its forecast peak this morning and is expected to decrease into Action Stage midweek. For the St. Johns River...including Cocoa 9w, Above Lake Harney, Sanford, Deland, Astor...Minor flooding is forecast. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued by Sunday morning at 1100 AM. Sunday morning at 1100 AM EDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...St Johns River near Astor. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 2.3 feet, Many docks become submerged along the river and in canals in the Astor community. Water enters yards of properties on Bartram Road, Holiday Circle and along Wild Hog Road on the Lake County side. In Volusia County, water encroaches yards of homes on the river side of Alice Drive.
