Flood Watch issued November 2 at 3:33AM CDT until November 5 at 12:00AM CST by NWS Wichita KS

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of Southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Chautauqua, Elk, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho and Wilson. * WHEN...From this evening through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Off-and-on rounds of numerous showers and thunderstorms will impact the region through Monday evening. The greatest chance for round-after-round of heavy rainfall will be over southeast Kansas, where widespread rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches are likely, with locally higher amounts possible.
