Special Weather Statement issued November 25 at 6:16AM CST by NWS Green Bay WI

At 6 am, area radars are indicating a wintry mix of light snow and freezing drizzle over north-central to far northeast Wisconsin early this morning. The combination of the snow and freezing drizzle will create hazardous driving conditions for the Monday morning commute. The snow is expected to increase in intensity after 9 am which could result in additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches by the end of the afternoon.

Snow showers will continue this morning. Additional snow amounts through mid-morning will be less than an inch. The combination of breezy northwest winds and falling snow could create periodic reductions in visibility. For areas that also have temperatures below freezing, road conditions could be slick during the morning commute. Bridges and overpasses are especially prone to becoming icy and slick. This accumulating snow could result in slippery morning commute, especially on bridges and overpasses. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and allow extra time for travel.
