* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kansas, including the following county, Pratt. * WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 738 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... In South Central Kansas, Butler, Harvey, Kingman and Sedgwick. * WHEN...Until 330 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 723 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to training rain showers and thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wichita, Park City, Valley Center, Goddard, Maize, Cheney, Colwich, Peabody, Garden Plain, Whitewater, Kechi, Potwin, Walton, Elbing, Burns, Murdock, Lake Afton and Wonsevu.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall from training rain showers and thunderstorms. * WHERE...A portion of South Central Kansas, including the following counties, Harvey, Kingman, Reno and Sedgwick. * WHEN...Until 330 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 629 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to training rain showers and thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Newton, Hesston, Kingman, Halstead, North Newton, Sedgwick, Haven, Burrton, Mount Hope, Pretty Prairie, Andale, Bentley, Cunningham, Yoder, Waterloo, Willowdale, Cleveland, Penalosa, Cheney Lake and Mt Vernon.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Central and South Central Kansas, including the following counties, in Central Kansas, Chase, Marion and McPherson. In South Central Kansas, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Reno and Sedgwick. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Numerous showers and thunderstorms will impact locations mainly along and west-northwest of the Kansas Turnpike through this evening. Localized rainfall amounts exceeding 3 inches are likely, which will support increased flooding concerns.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of Southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Chautauqua, Elk, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho and Wilson. * WHEN...From this evening through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Off-and-on rounds of numerous showers and thunderstorms will impact the region through Monday evening. The greatest chance for round-after-round of heavy rainfall will be over southeast Kansas, where widespread rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are likely, with locally higher amounts possible.
