At 228 AM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in and around the city limits of Clovis and Cannon Air Force Base. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
