Coastal Flood Advisory issued November 14 at 2:40AM EST until November 15 at 10:00AM EST by NWS Upton NY

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...In New Jersey, Hudson, Eastern Essex and Eastern Union Counties. In New York, Richmond (Staten Island), Kings (Brooklyn), Southern Queens and Southern Nassau Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Minor to locally moderate flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Localized moderate flooding for Southern Nassau and Southern Queens during both morning high tide cycles today and Friday. Elsewhere, for tonight's high tide cycle only, minor flooding may be only localized. Minor coastal flooding is also likely with the morning high tide cycle on Saturday and may also be possible on Sunday.

* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...New York (Manhattan) and Southeast Suffolk Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Flooding for tonight's high tide cycle is likely to be isolated at most. Minor coastal flooding will also be possible for the high tide cycle on Saturday morning, especially across Southeastern Suffolk County.

In New York, Northeast Suffolk and Southwest Suffolk Counties. * WHEN...From 6 AM EST this morning through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Some water on low lying roads and property. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Flooding is not expected with tonight's high tide cycle.

In New York, Southern Westchester, Bronx, Northwest Suffolk, Northern Queens and Northern Nassau Counties. * WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 1 PM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor coastal flooding is also likely with the morning high tide cycle on Saturday, and may also be possible on Sunday.
