For the Canadian River...including Canadian 2NE...elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Canadian River at Canadian 2NE. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Minor overbank flooding of farm and ranch land occurs. Red River near Burkburnett affecting Jefferson, Cotton, Clay, Wichita and Tillman Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Red River near Burkburnett. * WHEN...Until Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Near bankfull conditions extend along the Red River near Davidson... Oklahoma downstream to areas near Burkburnett and Taylor... Oklahoma. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:30 PM CST Monday the stage was 4.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 7.2 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall to 6.6 feet early Wednesday morning. It will rise to 7.2 feet early Wednesday evening. * WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Statement, isolated minor coastal flooding. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous longshore and rip currents. * WHERE...Kenedy Island, Willacy Island and Cameron Island Counties. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Statement, until 4 AM CST Tuesday. For the High Rip Current Risk, until 6 AM CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Wave run-up may approach the dunes along narrow beaches. Beach equipment, such as umbrellas and chairs, could be moved by waves. Vehicles driving along narrow beaches may experience higher water levels. Elevated water levels may also occur across the Laguna Madre and South Bay, and along State Highway 4 west of Boca Chica State Park. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide is at 9:12 PM this evening. The most likely time for runup to the dunes at narrow beaches will be through just after midnight. Dangerous rip and longshore currents should begin to subside toward daybreak Tuesday.
