...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida... St Johns River Near Astor affecting Lake and Volusia Counties. .River levels at Astor are forecast to very slowly decline through the weekend, possibly dropping to near Action Stage by mid next week. However, additional heavy rain upstream into early next week could slow the river's decline, and may even lead to additional rises. For the St. Johns River...including Astor...Minor flooding is forecast. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Saturday afternoon at noon EDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...St Johns River near Astor. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 2.3 feet, Many docks become submerged along the river and in canals in the Astor community. Water enters yards of properties on Bartram Road, Holiday Circle and along Wild Hog Road on the Lake County side. In Volusia County, water encroaches yards of homes on the river side of Alice Drive. No wake zones are in effect from near the South Moon Canal to approximately 800 feet south of the Riverview lodge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM EDT Friday the stage was 2.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 2.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM EDT Friday was 2.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood stage at 2.5 feet. - Flood stage is 2.3 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Additional information is available at https://water.weather.gov/wfo/JAX * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Santa Fe River at Three Rivers Estates. * WHEN...From late Saturday night until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lowland flooding begins on SW Santa Fe Drive south of Santa Fe Road in Columbia County. At 16.3 feet, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission begins enforcement of a no wake zone on the Santa Fe River from the unnamed island 1.5 miles downstream of the Wilson's Spring Boat Ramp to the confluence with the Suwannee River and on the Ichetucknee River upstream to the US 27 bridge. At 17.0 feet, Water begins to enter backyards of residences on Santa Fe Road in Columbia County and on River Run Road in Suwannee County. At 18.0 feet, Water begins to flood River Run Road in Suwannee County. At 18.8 feet, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission expands the no wake zone restriction further upstream on the Santa Fe River from the unnamed island 1.5 miles downstream on the Wilson's Spring Boat Ramp to one-half mile upstream of the State Road 47 bridge. * WHAT...Minor saltwater flooding. * WHERE...The Florida Keys. * WHEN...Through early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Minor saltwater flooding of low elevation streets and lots is likely, mainly around the times of high tide in the Lower and Middle Keys. In the Upper Keys, little relief is expected, even outside high tides. Some storm drains will overflow, and some seawalls and docks will be overtopped. Boaters can expect less clearance under fixed bridges. Motorists should remember that persistent puddles around the times of high tide are almost certain to contain a mix of saltwater.
