Notice
An Intense low pressure system is expected to track southeast of Nova Scotia Thursday night. A low pressure system containing the remnants of Tropical Storm Oscar will track southeast of Nova Scotia Thursday night. At this time, the heaviest rain and strongest winds are expected to stay off shore of eastern Nova Scotia as the low passes by. However, some rain bands and moderate wind gusts will likely affect eastern Nova Scotia Thursday night and Friday morning. If the low were to track slightly further west than currently expected, much heavier rain and stronger winds will impact the area. Environment Canada meteorologists will continue to keep a close eye this system as it develops and approaches the region. ### Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to NSstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #NSStorm.
